Our favorite place in the Caribbean is Isla Mujeres. 

We’ve been going there for 10 years and it keeps

getting better every year.  Isla Mujeres is an island five miles long and ½ mile wide.  It is only seven miles

by boat from Cancun but the laid back feel of the island makes it seem a million miles from Cancun.

With only four main streets in the town of Isla Mujeres, all the restaurants and shops are

within walking distance of any North Beach hotel. North Beach is one of the best beaches

in the Caribbean…fishing and snorkeling is also world class. 

Rent a golf cart or moped scooter and explore the island, shop in the many quaint shops or

spend the day at the beach. Jax Bar & Grill is located on the beach and

will be Island Time’s musical headquarters this year.  The LJT group will also gather at

Jax for happy hours and to watch the magnificent sunsets every evening. 

Most people who’ve been to the Island have a favorite place they  like to stay.  Some of

Larry Joe’s sail boating friends will sail to Isla  Mujeres for Island Time as well as folks from

rooms to condos with 2 bedrooms and full kitchens.
