Welcome to  “LJT’s Coastin’ & Cruisin’ 6!

OK, here comes cruise #6!  This is the most fun thing we do 
all year.  I enjoyed all the songwriters we took last year so much 
that I invited them all to come back this year and they all said 
“Yes”!  Along with this group of great writers I have invited a 
couple of others that I think you’ll enjoy.  We’ll be doing several 
acoustic shows during the 7 days.  I’m also bringing my band so 
we’ll be doing some electric shows, too.  There’s a late night 
open jam every night except Friday so if you play and sing bring 
your instruments.  If not just come and listen.  Our friend, David 
Byboth, hosts the late night jams for the second year.  Let me 
say a word about listening:  It doesn’t matter if it’s a songwriter 
playing one of his #1 hits or a songwriter who is playing the first 
song they’ve written, they both deserve the same respect.  So if
 you come to the shows please come to listen. 

We are having our second annual Texas Hold’em Tournament 
this year just for the Coastin’& Cruisin’ group.  The winner gets 
the money plus the traveling trophy and a bracelet.  It’s limited to 
60 players so if you want to play you better sign up early.  We’re 
having a jam with the band on Friday night at 10pm.  There will 
be a little different twist to this one so you don’t want to miss it.
 

I’m looking forward to meeting the new people and seeing the 
returning cruisers  again.  That’s it for me.  Here’s all the stuff 
you need to know.  I’ll see ya’ll at sea.

Bon Voyage & New Year’s Eve Party  
Start your vacation a day early & join LJT & Friends for a Bon 
Voyage and New Years’ Eve party Dec. 31 at the Victorian 
Condo Ballroom in Galveston. The party starts at 9pm,

Cruisers attending this event will be able to pick up their Cruise Laminates 
(that will get them into all LJT functions on the ship) and their cruise 
goodie bag.    If you can’t make it to this party you can pick up laminates
 and goodies bags onboard the ship at 6:00 pm Sunday in the Degas 
Lounge, Promenade Deck.   

  • INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Important Travel Documentation
    Proper travel documentation is the responsibility of the guest and is required at 
    embarkation and throughout the cruise. Guests traveling without proper documentation 
    will not be allowed to board the vessel, and will not be refunded the cruise fare.  Check 
    your tickets for information about the documents you will need.  Questions should be 
    directed to Dedra at Cowboy Way Travel      (toll free 888-282-7787 or local 254-965-7573)      

  • Coastin’ & Cruisin’ Laminates  
    Laminates must be worn to get into group events on board.

  • Late Night Jam Sessions 
    Vincent’s Bar on the Promenade Deck/Aft is reserved for late night jams 
    hosted by David Byboth.  Times vary each day (check the daily schedule below).  
    Everyone is welcome to bring an instrument & join in or come to listen. 

  • Margarita Party
    Thursday at 5:30pm our  friends at Margaritaville Tequila are providing margaritas 
    for our group’s “Get Ready for Mexico Party”.  The party is in a public area
     (open to the whole ship) so bar staff are requiring that you have a ticket to
     get a margarita. The drink tickets are in your goodie bag.  

  • Group Photograph
    The ship photographer will take a group photo at 5:00 pm Wed. at the Sky
     Pool/Bar, Lido Deck/Aft. You can purchase a copy in the ship’s Photo Gallery. 

  • Group Travel Agent Available on Ship
    Dedra (Cowboy Way Travel) will be at all group functions to answer any 
    questions you may have.  Also a Coastin’ & Cruisin’ flip board will be 
    inside the Atrium on the Lido Deck.  The Group Schedule & any new 
    information will be posted on this board each day.  In case of inclement
     weather some outdoor events may be moved.  Please check this board 
    for information about changes.  You may also leave messages for other 
    cruisers on this board.

  • Autographs from Artists
    A    ll the artists will be at the Happy Hour on Saturday evening so this 
    would be a good time to get autographs, cds, t-shirts or anything else signed.  

  • LJT’s Texas Hold’em No Limit Poker Challenge
    Limited to 60 players so sign up now. Call LJT Office before Dec. 28 to reserve a seat
